DIMAPUR — Additional Deputy Commissioner and administrator of Chümoukedima Town Council (CTC), Dr. K Wideo, has informed that there will be a mass social work on September 16 from 6 am to 8:30 am, in all the wards within Chümoukedima town jurisdiction.
The ADC in a circular stated that the mass social work is in view of the ongoing ‘Indian Swachhata League 2.0 of Swachhata Pakhwada 2023’ (September 1 to October 2), with the objective to keep the town clean and spread awareness on waste management.
All respective ward GBs and chairmen have been directed to mobilise the general public in their respective wards for social work. All the shopkeepers and business establishments are also directed to participate in the mass social work and also to ensure the provision of two dustbins (dry and wet) in their respective premises.
[bsa_pro_ad_space id=1]“During the drive, all the shop owners, and business establishments are requested to shut down their shop and take active participation till the completion of the mass social work,” the circular stated.
