Manipur road accident kills two

Dimapur, April 13 (EMN): In a major road accident, a passenger vehicle (Cruiser) carrying 12 persons felt down in a deep Gorge killing two persons in the spot and injuring 10 others. The accident is said to have occurred on April 13 near Awangkhul (Luangchum) Part-2 (91 Km from Imphal) along NH-37 under Noney Police Station in Manipur. Media source from Manipur mentioned that of the 10 injured atleast 5 persons are said to be in critical condition. The injured were said to be rescued by the nearby CRPF/Army personnels who were then brought to Imphal for treatment. The accident is said to have happened around 1:15 pm on APril 13 when the Imphal bound cruiser  vehicle was coming from Jiri side.
