Dimapur, Aug. 3 (EMN): The Naga People’s Front Minister of Manipur state, L Dikho on Friday asserted that all the four NPF MLAs of Manipur state will remain firm with the NPF party and will work for the upliftment of the Naga people.
Addressing the NPF Consultative meeting between the Central Office Bearers and NPF Legislators at Central office, the Minister in his speech termed the NPF party as the best political party for the Naga people, particularly for the Naga people of Manipur state, it is beyond any political parties, he added.
While thanking the NPF party and for the constant support, the Minister stated that the NPF of Manipur has become the most effective political party in Manipur, adding that the four MLAs will always stand with the principle of the party.
According to a press statement issued by press bureau, NPF central headquarters, Kohima, Dikho also said that the NPF of Manipur including all the four MLAs is trying its best for the upliftment of the Naga community.
He also said that the situation of Manipur has been improved to a great extent after the NPF came into government.
During the occasion, both the NPF President, Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsu and NPF Legislature party leader, TR Zeliang appreciated the decision of the four NPF MLAs of Manipur state to fully stand with principle of the party in decision making regarding the party stand.
During the meeting, the NPF Manipur State Unit President, Awangbow Newmai briefed about the roles of NPF MLAs in the BJP-led government and ADCs in Manipur.
On the significant cooperation with the NPF parent body, he said NPF Manipur unit will abide by the party constitution and stick to its principle. “We are ready to abide by the party constitution and the desire of the people as best option.”
On the occasion, Dr. Shürhozelie administered the Oath-Taking of W.Morung from Manipur state as working president central, during the day-long meeting.
It may be mentioned that all the four NPF MLAs of Manipur state and party functionaries of Manipur state attended the meeting.
