Dikho, member of Manipur Legislative Assembly (MLA) has acknowledged the
Chakhesang People Organisation (CPO) for inviting Naga brothers from Manipur
and strengthening the brotherhood relationship through the 'Thuni' festival celebration.
- He was the special guest on the second day of Thuni,
festival of new harvest, organised by CPO in collaboration with Tourism
department of Nagaland and hosted by Razeba Public Organisation (RPO) in
Zhavame village on Tuesday.
- To further strengthen the relationship and on request from
the RPO leaders, he assured to diplomatically convey the chief minister of
Manipur to take up a project by erecting a welcome gate at the border between
Zhavame village and Chilao (Zhaimai village).
- He expressed that it was his dream and vision to establish
strong relationship and live in harmony together as the people of God. He also
appreciated the Chakhesang community for helping and supporting them in many
areas.
- He also expressed the importance of bringing the Naga
brothers together on special occasions to build brotherhood and relationship.
- While reminding the honesty of Chakhesang community, he
expressed believe that they remain strong in their commitment and vision
because of their faith in Christ and also maintain trust among the brothers.
- While acknowledging the contribution of the Chakhesang
community towards the Naga society, be also mentioned how their lands, villages
and its people were blessed by God.
- Kumo Sha, MLA from Manipur and the guest of honour, expressed
his happiness to learn that the
government of Nagaland has approved for road construction from Pfutsero to
Chilao (Zhaimai village).
- "This is a big development and with such initiatives it
will strengthen the bond and relationship of the community," he said.
- He also appreciated the government of Nagaland for the
restricted holiday that has been allotted to the people of Chakhesang during
Thuni festival. He has appreciated CPO for bridging the relationship and
fostering unity with everyone.
