DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 19: The Manipur Hill Journalists’ Union (MHJU) has expressed sincere gratitude to the Manipur Government for endorsing its application and initiating the recruitment process for the posts translators in the Department of Information & Public Relations (DIPR) for the daily newspapers circulated in Zou, Paite, Hmar, Vaiphei, Liangmai and Paomei dialects.
While expressing its gratitude, the MHJU expressed concern about the recruitment and selection processes. It fervently appealed to the department concerned there should be no favouritism and corruption in the selection process and wanted that the most qualified and deserving candidates be selected for better and quality results.
The MHJU also warned that if “anti-social involvement” is found in the recruitment process, it will not remain a silent spectator, according to a release issued by MHJU president Sothing Shimray and general secretary S. Nengkhanlun.
