IMPHAL — Manipur Governor Anusuiya Uikey on Monday bid farewell to military ADC Major Rahul Pathania at a programme held in Durbar Hall, Raj Bhavan.
Major Rahul Pathania joined Manipur Raj Bhavan as ADC to the governor on March 16, 2021 and went on to serve under four governors during his 3 years and 2 months of service.
Speaking on the occasion, the governor hailed the major as a meticulous officer who took care of not only every aspect of safety and security of the governor but also beyond the call of his duty in the discharge of his duties and said that she was thoroughly satisfied with his services.
She made a special mention of his services during the ethnic strife in Manipur, especially devising and coordinating relief efforts from displaced families on behalf of Raj Bhavan.
The governor also awarded the army officer with a letter of appreciation and a memento, while wishing him success in his future endeavours.
