Manipur gets citizen facilitation centre

[caption id="attachment_237864" align="alignleft" width="300"] N Biren Singh[/caption] Our correspondent Imphal, March 10 (EMN): Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh on Sunday launched a citizen facilitation centre at the cabinet hall of the Chief Minister’s Secretariat. The programme was organised by the in Urban Development department. Speaking at the launching programme, the chief minister said that the centre was opened with an aim to deliver different services to the people through single window system to save time, maintain transperancy and ensure hassle-free. He said that the centre will also provide visa service. Visa service is likely to be introduced for 30 countries including UK and Japan as well within six months, he added. Besides visa service, the centre located near 2nd Manipur Rifles gate would provide 24 different services such as applications for domicile certificate, income certificate, OBC Certificate, SC/ST certificate, permanent resident certificate, registration in employment exchange, renewal of registration in employment exchange, transfer of registration to new employment exchange, issue of duplicate certificate of registration for vehicles, transfer of ownership for vehicles, transfer of ownership on death of owner for vehicles, no objection certificate for vehicles, change of residence address in vehicles registration, correction in applicant’s particulars in vehicles registration, endorsement of hire purchase, lease or hypothecation agreement of vehicles, termination of hire purchase, lease or hypothecation agreement of vehicles, online application submission for learner license, online application submission for driving license, addition of driving license, issue of duplicate driving license, change of address/particulars, renewal of driving license and issue of NOC for driving license. The officials informed that one may apply for visa to Italy, Estonia and Thailand for the time being. Service for other countries will be introduced within six months. Services which are to be included within six months are registrations for Ayushman Bharat, second opinion medical referrals, Manipur Home Care, admissions for All Schools within Manipur (Government and Private), admissions/ enrolments for colleges, admissions for MPSC, authentication and verification services, ticketing services, electoral enrolment services and other services.
