Imphal, May 9 (EMN): Manipur Chief Minister Nongthombam Biren Singh appealed to the class XII students, who could not clear their examination conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur, not “to lose hope and strive to work harder.”
In a message issued on Thursday, Singh said, “...I would like to say that they should not lose hope and strive to work harder to realise their full potential and succeed in the next examination.”
The results were declared in Imphal on Wednesday. Overall pass percentage was 73.83%. Around 7498 students failed to clear the exam.
Also, congratulating the successful students, Singh said: “I extend my hearty congratulations to the students who have excelled in different streams of the higher secondary examination (HSE) 2019 conducted by COHSEM and also to their parents and teachers for their relentless efforts in supporting them achieve it.”
