Manipur CM launches MHIM Mobile App for home isolation patients

Imphal, May 27 (EMN): Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh launched Manipur Home Isolation Management (Mhim) Mobile Application for home isolation patients at Chief Minister’s secretariat on May 27.

Pentabyte Technologies LLP developed the Mobile App and it can be downloaded from mhim.in from the midnight of May 27. It will also be available on Google Play Store soon, sources from chief minister’s secretariat said.

The App aims to avail real time health data and information of home isolation Covid-19 patients at monitoring level. With this App, patients can upload their health status including pulse rate, SPo2, body temperature and blood pressure among others using fixed parameters at fixed intervals as set by the Health department from time to time. The data uploaded will then be divided as critical and normal depending on the parameters and conditions set by the Health department. In case of detection of any critical data, the system will raise an alarm to the monitoring team so that immediate attention and precautionary measures can be provided to the patients preventing further health deterioration.

Principal Secretary (Health), V Vumlunmang was also present during the launch of the application. Mhim App meant for health workers and staff to upload health status of home isolation patients will be launched soon. Presently there are 4,828 home isolation Covid-19 patients in the state, as per official sources.

Meanwhile, many people contributed to the Chief Minister's Covid Relief Fund to assist the government's efforts to tackle Covid 19. Kh Menjor Mangang Khangabok, social worker contributed INR 1.05 lakh, Manipur University of Culture donated INR 3 lakh, Ching Tam New Manipur (WhatApp group) contributed INR 1, 77,777, Manipur State Co-operative Bank gave INR 10 lakh, N Ibochouba Singh, managing director BIPL, Imphal branch donated INR 5 lakh, Manipur State Women Commission for Women contributed INR 2 lakh and RK Ichanthoi's fans and followers donated INR 20,000.
