Yumnam Khemchand Singh meets Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi during his ongoing visit.

IMPHAL — Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Saturday during his ongoing visit to the national capital.
Confirming the meeting, Khemchand Singh shared photographs on X and expressed appreciation for the Prime Minister’s leadership and commitment to Manipur’s development.
“It was a privilege to meet the Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri @narendramodi Ji. His visionary leadership continues to inspire our commitment to building a peaceful, prosperous and Viksit Manipur as part of #VikshitBharat,” the Chief Minister wrote.
In another post, he said he deeply appreciated Modi’s leadership and unwavering commitment to the development of Manipur.
He added that his government remained committed to advancing lasting peace, stability and inclusive prosperity for the people of the state.
The specific issues discussed and the key agendas of the meeting were not immediately known at the time of filing this report.
Khemchand Singh, who has been camping in New Delhi since October 8, also attended the two-day Bharatiya Janata Party’s Nari Shakti Manthan – Women and Child Development Ministers’ Workshop held in the national capital. Prime Minister Modi attended the valedictory session on Saturday.
During his stay in Delhi, the Chief Minister had earlier met Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari, and Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports Dr Mansukh Mandaviya.
