Chief Minister N Biren Singh, accompanied by Education Minister Thounaojam
Basantakumar and officials, on Sunday inspected development projects being
undertaken in and around Imphal, in addition to inaugurating the Yoga and Naturopathy
Kendra Bhaskara Prabha.
- Sharing the photographs of the inspection visits in
different posts on X on Sunday, Biren Singh wrote, “Inspected the ongoing works
at Dhanamanjuri University (DMU), which is being developed under the PM-DevINE
scheme. These projects are a step toward creating world-class infrastructure
and enhancing the academic environment at DMU, which is set to become a leading
institution of higher learning and innovation in the region.”
- Later, the CM also visited Manipur Technical University
(MTU), Takyel, in the outskirts of Imphal.
- Confirming this through a post on X, Singh said, “Visited
Manipur Technical University (MTU), Takyel, Imphal, for an inspection. Under
the PM-DevINE scheme, necessary infrastructure and facilities are being
developed to ensure smooth administration and effective functioning of the
university. We are committed to equipping MTU with the best resources to
nurture and empower our youth and students.”
- He also inaugurated the Yoga and Naturopathy Kendra Bhaskara
Prabha, besides conducting a special puja to mark the beginning of this
important journey. “This centre will serve as a space where individuals from
all walks of life can come together to practice yoga, embrace a balanced
lifestyle, and develop inner peace,” he added in a post on X.
