Manipur CM Biren launched mobile App to communicate public

Our Correspondent Imphal, June 15 (EMN): Manipur Chief Minister Nongthombam Biren Singh on Thursday launched a mobile App called Red mine App in order to facilitate mobile phone SMS correspondence to the people whose grievances were recorded during Meeyamgi Numit (People’s Day) and Hill People’s Day every month. Chief Minister’s Secretariat will communicate the public through SMS by using this App on the action taken status and progress of their complaints, registered on these two days. Meeyamgi Numit was held on 15th of every month while Hill People’s Day on 10th of every month to listen to the grievances of the public and it were initiated since last month. Biren said he received 115 complaints from different representatives on 1st Meeyamgi Numit on May 15. 15 cases had been solved, 25 cases closed while necessary official communications are underway for the remaining 65 cases. Informing that public need not visit Chief Minister’s Secretariat to enquire about the action taken reports of the complains, he said that it would be sent to their mobile numbers through the newly launched App.
