results declaration in Imphal on Monday.
- IMPHAL — The Board of Secondary Education,
Manipur (BoSEM) declared the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examination
2025 results in Imphal on Monday afternoon.
- Secretary of Education N Praveen Singh, Director Ng
Bhogendra, BoSEM Chairman A Joykumar and Secretary S Jitenal were present
during the declaration of the HSLC exam results at the BoSEM conference hall.
- N Praveen praised the BoSEM officials for successfully
conducting the annual exams and urged the public to encourage students who
didn't succeed this time, reminding them that failure is often a stepping stone
to success.
- A total of 33,755 students out of 37,052 appeared for the
exam and passed, comprising 16,825 male and 16,930 female regular students, as
well as 96 male and 68 female external students. The exams were held at 155
centres across the state from February 19 to March 7.
- Among internally displaced students, 474 out of 533 passed
the exam, with Chandel district achieving a 100% success rate.
- Out of 33,755 successful students, 25,734 are from private
schools, 6918 from government schools and 1103 from aided schools.
- There was no ranking system as the authority introduced
grading system last year.
- Among the districts, Kakching and Noney have the highest
pass percentage of 98.48% and 97.78% respectively, while Pherzawl and Jiribam
have the least pass percentage of 56.76% and 65.63%, respectively.
