Dimapur, June 9 (EMN): Stated to be the first of State Bank of India’s ATM in Mangkolemba sub-division in Mokokching, an ATM facility was inaugurated on June 9 in Mangkolemba town by Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), T Imtiwapang Aier.
Lalkholum Hangsing, assistant general manager of the Regional Branch office, Mokokchung zone; members of Adhoc Town Committee; ward chairmen, Gaonboras and Dobashis of Mangkolemba town attended the event, a press release informed on Friday. In his speech, the ADC informed the gathering that the ‘much needed ATM would cater to the public of Mangkolemba town and also the public of the whole of Mangkolemba sub-division.’ He was quoted in the press release as having encouraged the people present there to make use of banking facilities “so that the banking system in Mangkolemba town would become vibrant and active, leading to better opportunities in future.” The ATM was inaugurated after a prayer pronounced by Dr. Akok Amer, pastor of Mangkolemba Town Baptist Church, the update stated.
