Man undergoing treatment in Kohima tests positive for Covid-19

Kohima, Aug. 11 (EMN): A male patient from Dimapur, who was admitted to Oking Hospital in Kohima, tested positive for Covid-19 on Tuesday.

Sources from the hospital confirmed to Eastern Mirror that the patient, who is about 70 years old, was an in-patient undergoing treatment at the hospital since August 3.

It was informed that all preventive measures have been taken while the second floor and the VIP room, where the patient was admitted, have been sealed.

It was informed that the patient had already been shifted to Dimapur on Tuesday. Other services in the hospital are functioning normally. Sample collection of hospital staff, who came into contact with the patient, have also been taken for Covid-19 testing.
