Man kills wife in Thilixu, surrenders to police

- DIMAPUR — In a
shocking incident in Thilixu village, Chümoukedima, on Sunday, a woman,
identified as 36-year-old Hutoshi, was murdered by her 40-year-old husband,
Kughato Yeptho.
- The newly married couple, who had reportedly wed 2-3 months
ago, were staying with a cousin.
- It was learnt that they became involved in an argument
around 3 pm, which eventually led to the husband slitting his wife's throat.
Following the attack, he surrendered himself to Diphupar Police.
- The body was later sent to District Hospital Dimapur for a
post-mortem, and the investigation is underway.
