Wokha, Oct. 9 (EMN): One person was killed after an ill-fated Tata Sumo (NL-02-T1031) met with a fatal accident at Satsuphen, Wokha on Monday. The cause of the accident has been attributed to ‘mechanical failure.’
Reports said that the vehicle, carrying ten passengers, was headed for Kohima. Sources identified the victim as Thungdemo Patton, son of Zademo Patton from Akuk village, serving as a teacher at Goverment High School, Akuk.
He was reported to have died on the spot. Three other passengers, and the driver of the vehicle, also sustained injuries and are currently being treated at the District Hospital of Wokha, according to a doctor at the hospital.
