A man died after being run over by a concrete mixer truck near Dimapur Railway Station on Wednesday.
DIMAPUR — A man died on the spot after being run over by a concrete mixer truck near Mohini Guest House, behind Dimapur Railway Station, in Railway-Netaji Colony, Dimapur, at around 5 pm on Wednesday.
According to reports, the victim, along with his wife and child, was entering the colony when the concrete mixer truck was coming out. The man reportedly came under the rear wheels of the vehicle.
The truck was reportedly being used at the construction site for the redevelopment of Dimapur Railway Station under Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR).
The occupants of the truck reportedly fled from the scene following the incident.
