Man from Karbi Anglong goes missing in Dimapur

DIPHU — One Windro Ronghang, father of five from Langsomepi under Jirikindeng Police Station of West Karbi Anglong, reportedly went missing in search of employment in Dimapur, leaving his family in distress.

Briefing the media, Windro’s family said that he was last seen when he visited the family back in April after finding work in Dimapur and taking his two children with him.

Since then, six months have passed, and yet there is no trace of him, and his phone has remained switched off, his family added.

According to village headman Charli Engleng, a discussion among family members was held to look for him, and no FIR was filed.
