The Youth Net comprising of young Entrepreneur’s Network from Dimapur, Kohima and Mokokchung called on the Chief Minister of Nagaland TR Zeliang at his residence today.
Youth Net’s Young Entrepreneur’s Network had a long informal session over a cup of coffee and highlighted various points to CM during the discussion such as if task force for entrepreneurship can be constituted, create a one stop hub for local products and service center and exposure trip for young entrepreneur’s to attend international entrepreneur’s conference.
The young entrepreneur’s believe that taking these initial steps would help towards strengthening the entrepreneurship eco system in the State and thus creating a strong private sector and changing the economy of the state. They also highlighted their activities and different ventures they are currently into and shared their personal views and opinions.
The Chief Minister encouraged the young entrepreneur’s on their different ventures and said more awareness should be created to promote our local products. He also added that naga king chilly is very popular not only in India but internationally. So, he said we should advertise our local products and identify the markets where we can supply our locally produced products. He added that the task force idea presented for entrepreneurship is workable and now they should work as what will be the role of entrepreneur’s in the government, knowing that entrepreneur’s are very important stakeholders in the progress and development of the State. CM also said that we “must make our local product popular & precious”. He added that globally people run after quality products and we must make our local product a quality product.
