Wokha, Sep 20 (EMN): Lotha Students’ Union (LSU) today conducted a felicitation programme for the 32 students on completion of free basic and diploma (DCA) course sponsored by Zagreus Computer, recognized by Government of Nagaland thorough the initiative of LSU.
Speaking on the occasion, LSU president Lipemo M Tsopoe congratulated the students for successfully completing the computer course. Stating that students’ community were benefited through Zagreus Computer, he thank the proprietor Benithung Humtsoe for sponsoring the 32 students.
Stating that “Learning is a continues process,” Tsopoe encouraged the students to further continue and avail courses as Zagreus Computer has assured 50% course fee discount to the students who has completed basic course at the institute.
LSU president also informed the students to attend the 1st cultural day cum inter-school and college competitions to be conducted on September 23 in full traditional attire. He also encouraged the students to preserve ones tradition and cultural values which according to him is our identity.
The programme was chaired by Yenrothung Odyuo, LSU vice president, and the invocation prayer was said by Yanthanthung Yanthan, LSU finance secretary.
LSU further informed that it will sponsor another 30 students in which they need to pay only the registration fee.
