Dimapur, Oct. 17 (EMN): Khulio King FC progressed to the semi-final of the ongoing 27th Loyem Memorial Trophy after beating Hügel Hifliers FC (Jr) 4-0 on Thursday at Loyem Memorial Ground, Tuensang.
An update from the organisers of the event informed that Khulio King FC had won all the league matches played in this edition.
Benjamin scored a hat-trick in the 1st, 15th and 17th minutes for Khulio King before Chiu added one more in the 37th minute to extend the lead to 4-0 and eventually win the match.
In the second match of the day, Tiaren FC edged United FC 2-1, taking one step closer to the semi-final. Kelep scored the opening goal in the 11th minute and Lemtok Khumba added another one in the 18th minute for Tiaren FC.
After the first half, Peshie scored in the 31st minute for United FC but it was not enough to pull the team through.
