The 22nd Loyem Memorial Senior Soccer Open Championship 2012 was inaugurated by Advisor DUDA, Thongwang as a chief guest. LMSSOC is a yearly soccer tournament organized by the Confederation of Chang Students’ Union. The chief guest in his speech congratulated the organizing committee for successfully organizing the programme and encouraged them to promote sports as a profession since sports has a promising career especially to the youngsters. Discipline, dedication, efforts and commitment are the key factors for sports persons to achieve their goals. He also said that the government is trying to facilitate the sports persons of the state with the infrastructure and other requirements and further encouraged the players to excel in the games by citing the example of the legendary football player T. Ao. In conclusion he told all the players to have game spirit in the game.
The programme was chaired by Chulongl while Chang Students Union Sao Chang Government College sung the CCSU anthem. The convener of the organizing committee P. Yanger Chang delivered the welcoming speech.
