Dimapur, April 3 (EMN): The Mokokchung Lotha Students’ Union (MLSU) conducted its 33rd annual conference on March 31, under the theme “Lotha Etsow Jilo Myinthung Elio Ji” (Lotha for: “Pride of being a Lotha”), at Mokokchung Town Hall in Mokokchung. A press release received from the union on Tuesday informed.
The president of MLSU, Yantsuo S Ezung, said ‘Lothas should come together as one to promote the spirit of unity, while submerging differences within the Lotha Community.’
The president of Lotha Students’ Union, Libemo M Tsopoe, in his address opined that parents should be responsible in leading their children to participate in society. Youth must also engage in serving the society by curving opportunity and not by reserving their ability, he said.
Citing an example of how the government addressed the land of Lothas’ as ‘Land of plenty,’ the assistant professor of Fazl Ali College, Benrithung Patton said ‘every Lotha Naga should maintain their own pride and contribute towards Lotha Society and to the Nagas’ in general.’
