Lotha Football Championship: Quarterfinal matches from today

Dimapur, Feb. 3 (EMN): The quarterfinal matches of the ongoing 10th Lotha Football Championship organised by Wokha District Football Association (WDFA) will begin today, informed an update by the WDFA on Monday.

Vungoju FC (VFC) thrashed Vankhosung 6-0 in the last league match to enter the quarterfinals. Ratobe of VFC scored in the 8th, 14th and 26th minute of the game to complete his hat trick while Nithong, Hatsabemo and Yanben also netted a goal each for VFC.

The first quarterfinal match will be played between last year runners-up Vungoju FC and Longsa Sports Association, while NRSA will lock horn with Vankhosung FC in the second quarterfinal.

A1 Tsungiki, Friends Club Wokha Village and NRSA also registered win in the last league match of the tournament.
