Losliya's father S Mariyanesan passes away

Dimapur, Nov. 16 (EMN): Former Bigg Boss Tamil contestant Losliya Mariyanesan’s father died on Sunday in Canada following a massive cardiac arrest. The actor posted a picture of her and her father on her Twitter page following his death.

Fans of Losliya and fellow actors took to Twitter to express their grief on the demise of S Mariyanesan. The hashtag #RIPMariyanesan has been trending on Twitter since the news of his demise was made public.

Mariyanesan worked in Canada and became popular among Tamil audiences when he and his wife along with Losliya’s sisters paid a surprise visit to the Bigg Boss house during the third season of the reality show. Prior to the surprise visit, Losliya spoke fondly of her father who she had not seen for almost a decade.

Vanitha Vijaykumar, one of Losliya’s co-stars on the reality show took to Twitter to express her condolences. She wrote, “Even sadder to hearing the news of #LosliyaMariyanesan .cruel...I don't know how they are handling this...especially being he was the breadwinner and 3 daughters...very heartbroken..life is too unpredictable...scary...I hope they can at least bring back his body in this time.”

Aathimika, a popular Tamil actor, took to Twitter to condole the demise of Mariyanesan. She wrote, “No words can compensate the loss of a father. Stay strong Losliya.”
