Lord of Rock a.k.a LOR has reached Mokokchung on Thursday evening to blast Mokokchung’s Rock fans with their 1980’s rock gigs which is scheduled for May 27 evening at Town Hall here. The land of the Ao one’s fame for Rock & Roll is currently slumbering, however, the arrival of the classic Rockers might once again revive the rock music among the people.
The five member band along with Artist Manager Mike Mirucki and concert partner Temulunger Telok during a press conference at The Restaurant on Thursday evening said after months of heretic jamming, Lords of Rock is ready for the 2 hours long live with pure package of classic rock from 1980’s.
Clement Imsong the leader of the band also expressed that they chose Mokokchung as their next destination for their third debut gigs as they felt that Mokokchung is the town where Rock N’ Roll started in Nagaland. While paying homage to the pioneering band from the district LOR leader wrapped up that the band is expecting some hard rock time with rock aficionados.
The newly assembled bands with huge successful gigs will be picking covers from famous bands like Firehouse, Extreme, Mr Big etc along with their original if lucky!.
LOR band also disclosed they are eyeing their next gig at Kohima and other districts along with couple of line-up at Hyderabad, Bangalore, Sikkim, Delhi and Guwahati.
Local Band- Rag Dolls and Mannequin will also be joining the show as the opening band, so Mokokchung be prepared for an enthralling night of classic rock.
Tickets are available at Aria, Cosmos Entertainment at Rs 300 per head.
