Dimapur, Jan 9: Parliamentary Secretary of LR, VG & WRD L Khumo graced the Longtsunger village citizens’ silver jubilee on the theme “Striding in unity” on January 7. He also unveiled the jubilee monolith.
Dedicatory prayer was done by Pastor Y Loshito, while the welcome address was proposed by S Shojiba and short speeches were also delivered by R Kihoto, former president of village citizens; K Machim, Head GB; K Murelim, Deputy Director of Art & Culture; and PKF Tochu, former candidate. Special number was presented by the students’ union.
Other highlights of the programme included cultural show and cultural dances.
