Longleng District Level Coordination Committee holds meeting on 8th Economic Census

• DIMAPUR — A co-ordination meeting of the District Level Coordination Committee (DLCC) for the 8th Economic Census was held on Thursday in the office chamber of the deputy commissioner in Longleng.

• According to an update, the meeting was chaired by the Deputy Commissioner and Chairman of the DLCC Longleng, W Manpai Phom.
• 
  
• Dy. Director and District Economics and Statistics Officer (DESO) Longleng, Nyushotho Nyuthe, provided an overview of the 8th Economic Census during the meeting. He also stated that the 8th Economic Census aims to provide comprehensive data on the operational and economic variables of non-agricultural establishments across various administrative levels.

• The chairman entrusted the DESO with preparing the framework for manpower arrangements, division of enumeration blocks, urban frame survey, and other requisites for the survey in consultation with the Rural Development and Labour departments and to submit the same at the next DLCC meeting scheduled for May 14.
