DIMAPUR — Lok Sabha MP S Supongmeren Jamir
attended the Telecom Advisory Committee (TAC) meeting of BSNL, Nagaland
Business Area (BA), at the BSNL state branch office in Dimapur on Monday.

The first meeting of the recently constituted committee for
the 2024-2026 term also saw the attendance of Masharib Gul Mufti, general
manager, Nagaland BA, BSNL; Y Zarenthung Kikon, DGM, Nagaland BA, BSNL; and
other TAC members and senior BSNL officials, according to a press release
issued by the Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee.
During the meeting, Jamir exhorted the committee members to
complement the efforts of the staff and employees of the public undertaking
with their informed interventions in order to achieve the shared objective of
providing reliable, robust, and affordable telecom connectivity to the people
of Nagaland.
Mufti highlighted the achievements of the organisation in
the state in recent years, despite the many challenges faced in the process,
and outlined the plan of action going forward.
A host of related issues was also discussed, and several
resolutions were adopted to address them during the deliberations that ensued.
