Kohima DC convenes meeting for Medical Board today
The Medical Board meeting for examining the drafted polling personnel seeking exemption from the forthcoming Lok Sabha election duty on medical ground will be held at NHAK Auditorium Complex in Kohima on Tuesday, March 26 at 10:30 am, informed an update from DPRO Kohima.
The DC & DEO Kohima, Anoop Khinchi has directed those who have applied for exemption of election duty on medical ground to be present during the Medical Board meeting without fail. He also informed that no applications for exemption will be entertained henceforth.
ADC Pughoboto warns absentees
ADC and DEO Pughoboto, K. Mhathung Tsanglao has directed all the polling officials who didn’t attend the training programme conducted on March 20 to reply to the show cause notice with a written application in person on or before March 27. All absentees shall report to the authority, failing which strict disciplinary action will be initiated as per the law, warned a statement from APRO Pughoboto.
Training schedule for polling officials in Phek
The second phase of training for polling officials for the upcoming Lok Sabha election will begin this week. A statement from DPRO Phek has announced that the second phase of training for presiding officers and first polling officer will be held on March 28 at 10 am; March 29, 10 am for second and third polling officials; and the third phase training will be held on April 8.
The first phase of training was held at Phek Govt. Higher Secondary School, Phek on March 22 for the presiding officers and first polling officers, and on March 23 for the second and third polling officials.
Drivers can collect election duty certificates
Nodal Officer & ETPBS and EAC Wokha, Riku Khutso has asked all the drivers whose vehicles have been requisitioned for election duty under Wokha district to collect election duty certificates (Form 12 A) for the ensuing Lok Sabha election from the Facilitation Centre EDC & ETPBS office of the deputy commissioner and district election officer, Wokha. The last date for receiving EDC applications is March 29. The drivers should enclose a copy of vehicle requisition order along with EPIC or service identity card with photo while applying for EDC.
Medical Board meeting on March 28
The office of the chief medical officer, Peren has informed that the Medical Board will conduct a meeting at CHC Jalukie, Peren district on March 28 at 10 am for examination of government employees who have applied for exemption of polling/election duties during the upcoming Lok Sabha election on medical ground.
