Local youth capture leopard in Tuli

Dimapur, July 11 (EMN): In a display of traditional method of trapping wild animals, a youth group of Longpong ward,Tuli town in Mokokchung captured a leopard on Friday night using a trap.

The leopard has reportedly killed a number of domestic animals in and around Longpong area for the last few days which alarmed the local residents.

It was informed that the ward authority has decided to present the leopard to the wildlife department of Nagaland.

Meanwhile, the Longpong ward committee congratulated the youth for trapping the big cat without causing any harm.
