Diphu, May 3 (EMN): Dr. Numal Monin, a local MLA from Bokajan along with KAAC Deopani MAC Mukut Mahanta inspected the various storm affected villages in Bokajan on May 3 Thursday.
Momin informed that around 2300 people were affected from the heavy storm that occurred on May 2.
In this regard a relief operation have been started where check up camp are being installed to help the affected people.
Momin assured help to the affected families on behalf of the Assam government.
524 houses are being damaged in Bormanthi and Kukiar Bari villages 64 houses at Sorumanthi village while the Bokajan veterinary dispensary is also said to have been partially damaged by the storm.
