Dimapur, Oct. 27 (EMN): Playing match number 34 in the league round on Friday, a ten man Vetao Ayie FC defeated Settle FC 1-0. The winning goal came in the second half through the boots of Khuyang (jersey no. 10) in the 36th minute. In the first half of the match Langshe K (jersey no. 2) of Vetao Ayie FC was awarded a Red card for a late charge in the 24th minute.
The second match of the day witnessed a walkout as Tenyimi FC failed to appear in the 35th match thereby conceding the victory to High Hill Club. Tenyimi FC is suspended henceforth for a period of three years from participating in the LMSSOC for failing to appear in the scheduled match through the power conferred to the organising committee in Clause 12 and subclause (a) of the 25th Loyem Memorial Senior Soccer Open Championship 2017 By Law.
The suspension order was served on the part of the Tenyimi FC failing to address their inability without any official/formal intimation to the organisers
