Dimapur, October 3: Livingstone Foundation Hr. Sec. School, Dimapur, conducted its annual co-curricular activity (outdoor) 2016 from September 28 to October 1. The four-day event was marked by various outdoor games played among the four houses of the school.
The outdoor games included football, volleyball, basketball and badminton which were played at various levels viz. junior, senior and super-senior. The senior and super-senior events were conducted on September 28 and 29 while the junior events were held on September 30 September and October 1.The inaugural function of the four-day event was held at the Livingstone Foundation Junior High Campus on September 28 with principal of Academics, Prabhat Mandal, declaring the CCA (outdoor) open. The four houses were named as Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.
Some of the key highlight of the matches were the final match of the Super-Senior basketball played between John and Mark Houses which was won by Mark House and Super-Senior football final match played between John and Mark House in which John House was the winner.
The press release stated that the CCA indoor and outdoor events are held every year for the overall development of the students and is organised by the co-ordinating committee of the school. As a part of the extra-curricular development, the CCA (Indoor) events were earlier conducted in the month of August which included Literary and Art Competitions.
