Limasunep Imchen from The Combat Academy Nagaland secures a victory at the Aturto MMA event in Itanagar.

DIMAPUR — Limasunep Imchen, a professional mixed martial artist representing The Combat Academy Nagaland and Warriors Cove MMA, secured a first-round technical knockout victory against Nisham Waii of Arunachal Pradesh at the Aturto mixed martial arts event held in Itanagar on April 25.
With this quarterfinal win, Imchen advanced to the semi-finals of the 8-man Flyweight Grand Prix Tournament, where he is set to face Lia Nun from Mizoram in August.
An update mentioned that the tournament features athletes from across the country, including Mizoram, Meghalaya, Mumbai, Assam, Delhi, and Arunachal Pradesh. The competitors are vying for the inaugural Aturto Flyweight Championship belt and a cash prize of INR 5 lakh.
Aturto, based out of Arunachal Pradesh, is regarded as a prominent mixed martial arts promotion in the Northeast region and India.
