Imphal, Oct. 11 (EMN): Reporter turned columnist of The Sangai Express, Ngasepam Liklaileima on Friday received the RK Maipaksana Journalist Fellowship award 2019.
The citation of the award along with the first instalment of the fellowship was handed over to the journalist during the 95th foundation day of RK Maipaksana at Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Dance Academy auditorium in Imphal.
RK Maipaksana Memorial Trust will be providing a remuneration of INR 3000 every month during the one year fellowship.
Liklaileima will publish a feature article or two news stories on the topic recommended by the trust earlier.
Academician Dr. Ksh Bimola who is the former dean of school of social science delivered RK Maipaksana memorial lecture.
