WOKHA — Mount Morashen Club (MMC) and Humtso
SA booked their semi-final berths after winning their respective quarter finals
matches on Monday at the ongoing Lotha Football Championship (LFC) 2025 played
at local ground, Wokha town.
Interestingly, both the quarterfinal matches were decided
through penalty shootout.
The third quarterfinal match between MMC and Old Changsu FC
ended in a goalless after the 90-minute regulation time. The organisers opted
for a penalty shootout, where MMC emerged victorious.
In the last quarterfinal match between Lower Senchum and
Humtso SA too, both teams failed to score during regulation time, resulting in
another penalty shootout: Humtso SA won and advanced to the semi finals.
The LFC-2025 is organised by the Wokha District Football
Association (WDFA).
