LFC 2024: Restoring Boys, XI Brothers, Airfield FC register wins

DIMAPUR — Restoring Boys Vungoju, XI Brothers and Airfield Football Club registered wins on the second day of the ongoing Lotha Football Championship (LFC) 2024 organised by Wokha District Football Association (WDFA) at local ground, Wokha.

In the first match of the day, defending champions XI Brothers defeated Vibers Football Club by seven goals, with Mhonthung scoring four goals in the 13th, 45th, 49th and 67th minute of the game, becoming the first player to score a hat-trick in the tournament, informed an update received on Wednesday.

In the second match, Restoring Boys beat NRSA 1-0 with Chumbemo scoring the lone winning goal for the Restoring Boys in the 64th minute.

In the last match of the day, Airfield FC defeated Lower Senchum 3-1. Yanchibemo scored two goals while Yanchibemo scored one for the winning team.
