
ZUNHEBOTO — The LEVIAA Music Centre on November 1 hosted a concert at town hall, Zunheboto, celebrating the talents of its young musicians, with entrepreneur Heto N Yeptho as the chief guest for the event.
In his address, Yeptho highlighted the profound impact of music, emphasising its ability to heal and unite people. He noted that listening to music can provide comfort and enhance mental well-being, an update stated.
“Music does not discriminate. It can uplift our spirits and strengthen our minds,” he added.
Jeve Hesso, representative of LEVIAA, explained that the music school offers a range of classes, including theory, piano, and guitar. The name ‘LEVIAA’ comes from the Sumi word meaning ‘music house’ and signifies a space for well-being and creativity.
During the concert, numerous talented students showcased their skills, performing a variety of musical pieces that captivated the audience. Yeptho expressed his hopes for a future where everyone has the opportunity to listen to, compose, and create music, recognising music’s essential role in personal and communal development.
The event underscored the importance of music education and its benefits, reinforcing the belief that music is a vital component of a healthy, thriving community, it stated.
