Letter of Conviction

Sharper than any double edged sword, it penetrates even to the dividing soul and Spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and the attitudes of the heart. Nothing in all of creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of Him to whom we must give account. Hebrews 4:12-13We are often captivated by whatever catches our eye and the beauty of it either leads us to sin or cause us to marvel at the beauty of God’s creation. In the years past, our nation had been as innocent as our ancestors of the past. The innocence of our past now seem to be replaced by the sins and the promiscuity of the present. If ever there is a way to clean the mess I will be willing to do what I can for the good of our nation. The world’s population has increased and it will keep on increasing and our sins continue to, multiply every second. The media updates us about the sins of the world but not of its consequences. News of promiscuity and destruction dominates our headlines and the spiritual consequences of it will be made known to us when judgment befalls upon the people of the world (Revelation 20:11-15).Step by step our nation is now headed for disaster and it grieves me whenever I think about the fate of the sinners. The evil we do will always attract evil which will ultimately incur God’s wrath on the people of sin. The years which had passed by were evil and the years which are yet to come will be more evil than the present. The decision we make now will impact the destiny of our future. God is now warning us to shun evil lest we be destroyed because of it. The 11th verse of the last chapter of Revelation says “Let him who does wrong continue to do wrong; let him who is vile continue to be vile; let him who does right continue to do right and let him who is holy continue to be holy ( Revelation 22:11 ). If this verse speaks to you I pray that you will do what will be good for you. I cannot condemn you, neither can I criticize you but I write this just because I care. After I die I will never be able to write as I do and I will never be able to care and pray for the lost. This is an opportunity even for me to serve God better and save as many as possible. If you are one among them who needs to be saved I pray that you will receive Christ into your life now. I am certain that God is speaking to you and know this will bear fruit in a few moments from now. Start your act of repentance and receive His gifts of forgiveness, mercy and salvation. It will be yours when you believe, accept and obey His Word. The Holy Spirit will now lead into all truths when you invite Him into your life. Sin no more and hurt God no more. This is now your moment. The decision to either spend these moments in repentance or in sin is yours. Remember “Nothing in all of creation is hidden from God’s sight everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of Him to whom we must give account (Hebrews 4:12-13). Ultimately we will either repent or perish. This is a letter of conviction.
