Sir,
I am writing this letter to express my sincere appreciation to the personnel manning the pension cell at the treasury office Dimapur. Dimapur treasury gathers the maximum number of pensioners in Nagaland and pension matters are daily affairs. Yet, I find the staff solving things professionally, systematically and dully.
Pensioners in Nagaland are drawing their pensions through state treasury and central pension processing centre, Guwahati i.e. through the State Bank of India. For pensioners drawing from treasury, dearness relief installments are promptly reflected in the PPO book and given to the pensioner which is self satisfying. Senior Treasury Officer and staff Dimapur are commended for their yeoman service rendered to the pensioners who are mostly aged and some disabled.
The state government is enforcing the No Work No Pay mantra, so it should also be able to acknowledge those who are working sincerely and honestly. The District Planning & Development Board can identify those departments and officials working honestly and sincerely and acknowledge them even at the district level for better Nagaland.
Sincerely,
Dr. N. Mhonchan Shitiri
