Dimapur, April 28 (EMN): The first Lenskart store in Nagaland was inaugurated on Thursday at 5th Mile, Chumoukedima, by the proprietor’s parents Kanti Jain and Prabha Jain.
Lenskart is an Indian optical prescription eyewear chain based in New Delhi. The proprietor of the newly inaugurated store, Arinjay Jain, informed that extension of a similar store in Dimapur would depend on the response of the store.
The store has two certified optometrists namely Khuvine Woba and Kekhriesenuo. The operation manager of the store, Metseivino, informed that the main idea of the store was to cater to the needs of the people in Nagaland. She added that anyone could come for a free eye-test at the store.
The store has collections of eyeglasses, sunglasses and contact lenses.
The business head of east India, Biswajit, stated that there are currently 145 Lenskart stores in east India and 20 stores in the Northeast. He added that most of the stores in the Northeast are in Assam and one each in Tripura and Nagaland.
