Kohima, Aug. 22 (EMN): Nagaland’s advisor for the Youth Resource and Sports department Zale Neikha was in New Delhi recently meeting with various officials of the ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.
Zale was stated to have met with Youth Affairs Secretary Upma Chawdhry, and Sports Secretary Radhey Shyam Julaniya on August 21 in Delhi, a press release from the advisor’s establishment on August 22 stated.
During meetings with both the ministry’s secretaries, Neikha was stated to have briefed them ‘about the ongoing activities and the proposed plans of the department.’
During the discussions, the press release stated, the Youth Resource and Sports department was asked to send the proposal for organising a national integration camp that is to be held in Kohima this year and to invite youths from across the country.
“This will usher in the youth of the country for a united India,” the press release claimed.
Neikha was quoted as having stated that both the secretaries had “assured of their full help and cooperation in uplifting the sports and youth in the state.”
