Dimapur, Dec. 4 (EMN): Nagaland State Legal Services Authority (NSLSA) official website was launched on December 4 by Justice AS Bopanna, chief justice of Gauhati High Court and patron-in-chief of Nagaland State Legal Services Authority, in the presence of Justice Songkhupchung Serto, judge of Gauhati High Court and portfolio judge, at the Gauhati High Court, Kohima bench complex.
Launching the website, Justice AS Bopanna appreciated the efforts put in by NSLSA in creating the website and said that information technology plays an important role in almost every aspect of lives and that such information could be sought by simply pressing a button. Now that NSLSA has its own website, he said it would help the youths and many others to avail information with regards to the activities carried by the authority.
A brief introduction to the website was delivered by Nungsangchiba Jamir, where he explained the various functions of the website and its technicalities. He hoped that people from all walks of life would find the website useful.
The programme was chaired by Mrs Mezivolu T Theireh, NJS and NSLSA member secretary, who also presented the welcome address.
Other dignitaries including the Registrar General of Gauhati High Court, Principle to Chief Justice, Registrar General of Gauhati High Court, Kohima Bench, and staff of Nagaland State Legal Services Authority, panel lawyers of the state and Kohima district and other concerned persons attended the programme.
