Dimapur, Oct. 30 EMN): The Lotha Colony Football Club (LCFC) is all set to play in the 27th edition of Late Nyamo and Late Daniel Lotha (ND) memorial running trophy 2022.
This was announced during the introduction of players-cum- prayer programme on Sunday here at Lotha colony panchayat hall.
This will be the sixth appearance of the club in the Late ND Trophy.
The club was launched in the year 2016 with the motto ‘Keep the dream alive’ and in its first appearance, the club emerged as the first runner-up of the trophy.
The club emerged champions for three consecutive years (2017, 2018 and 2019). In 2021, the club again bagged the 1st runner-up title.
LCFC president, Vanjamo Murry, said with time the club has been changing its objectives in encouraging the players.
During the programme, the management team of LCFC also felicitated three players who have been consistently playing for the club since its formation in 2016. Associate pastor of Lotha Baptist Church, Dimapur, Lanlongo Yanthan pronounced prayer for the players and the management team.
The LCFC players are Lijanthung Yanthan, Renjamo Humtsoe, Albert Humtsoe, Mhonjan Ovung, Longshio Tungoe, Yanpvuo Yanthan, Mhabemo V Ngullie, Chenio Tungoe, Nchumbemo Mozhui, Zaremo Ezung, Renbemo Ngullie, Renbithung Yanthan, Chumben Kikon, Hatsabemo Ezung and Achamo Ngullie.
