Dimapur, August 10 (EMN): Nagaland recorded 230 new Covid-19 cases on Monday, taking the state's tally to 3012.
This was informed by the minister of Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom.
According to the health minister's tweet, out of 828 samples, 230 new Covid-19 positive cases have been detected. Out of the 230 confirmed new cases, 104 were detected in Dimapur, another 104 cases were detected in Kohima, 18 cases from Mon and 4 cases were from Peren.
According to the information provided by the Health department till the time of filing this report, the state has 2097 active Covid-19 cases, 904 recoveries and eight deaths.
In regard to district-wise distribution of Covid-19 cases, Dimapur leads with 1284 active cases, followed by Kohima – 533 Mon – 184, Peren -11 , Phek - 3, Mokokchung- 5 and Zunheboto- 63, Wokha – 10, Tuensang - 1, and Longleng and Kiphire has zero cases so far.
