Latest Nagaland Covid-19 news: 89 new infections detected today

Dimapur, April 23 (EMN):
Covid-19 cases continue to increase in Nagaland as 89 new infections were detected on Friday, taking the state’s active caseload to 456.

The minister of Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom, updated that 85 Covid-positive cases were reported in Dimapur and four in Kohima in the last 24 hours, while one positive patient recovered in Kohima.

Out of the total active cases in the state, 411 are asymptomatic, 31 mild, 10 moderate on oxygen and four severe on oxygen.

District-wise distribution of Covid-19 cases in Nagaland

In regard to district-wise distribution of active Covid-19 cases, Dimapur has 314, 121 in Kohima, 11 in Mokokchung, four in Longleng, three in Phek and one each in Peren, Wokha and Tuensang, while the remaining districts are Covid-free

The state has recorded 12889 Covid-19 cases, 12117 recoveries and 84 deaths so far.
