with an exciting opening match between Veritas and Esa Veterans.
- Batting first, Veritas set a target of 170/6 in 20 overs,
powered by Joshua’s brilliant knock of 62 off 46 balls — earning him the man of
the match title, an update stated.
- Despite some impressive bowling efforts from Jalal, Along
and Raja Kumar, who took 2 wickets each for Esa Veterans, the chase never took
off. Veritas bowlers dominated the innings, restricting Esa to just 102 all out,
sealing a convincing win for Veritas.
- In the second match between Lhomithi SC and Whiskers CC,
Lhomithi SC posted a strong total of 177/6 in 20 overs, with contributions from
across the batting order. Bidesi Nayak shone with 24 off 15 balls, a crucial wicket,
and 2 sharp catches, earning him the man of the match award.
