Langpangkong Students' Conference and The Sound Wave Studio conducted a two-day church sound and audio engineering workshop in Chuchu town.

MOKOKCHUNG — The Langpangkong Students' Conference (LKM), in collaboration with The Sound Wave Studio, Mokokchung, conducted a two-day workshop on church sound and audio engineering at the LKM conference hall, Chuchu town, on October 2 and the 3rd.
The workshop was organised with the objective of providing practical and technical knowledge to individuals involved in church sound, music ministry and related fields.
Participants from various villages and churches under the Langpangkong Range actively took part in the training.
The sessions were led by Lima Lemtur, proprietor and course facilitator of The Sound Wave Studio. An educator, theologian, audio and sound engineer, and music professional, he also serves as an assistant professor at Nagaland Bible College, Mokokchung.
The training covered essential areas of audio engineering, including live sound, audio mixing, mastering, sound system management and the operation of professional audio equipment. Emphasis was placed on hands-on learning, allowing participants to gain practical exposure to sound equipment and techniques applicable to church services, music programmes and other professional settings.

The workshop provided participants with an opportunity to strengthen their technical understanding, develop practical skills and gain greater confidence in managing sound systems.
The interactive nature of the sessions also encouraged participants to learn through direct engagement with equipment and real-world sound management practices.
The LKM expressed its sincere appreciation to the resource person, The Sound Wave Studio, participating churches and all the individuals who contributed to the successful conduct of the workshop.
It acknowledged that such initiatives play an important role in creating meaningful opportunities for skill development, practical learning and capacity building among young people.
The conference further emphasised its commitment to promoting programmes that respond to the evolving needs of the community and equip young people with relevant skills and knowledge.
It expressed hope that the training would not only benefit the participants individually but also contribute to strengthening the technical capabilities of churches and ministries across the Langpangkong Range.
